First, a story.

Some good things came out of the pandemic, and this is one of those stories.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jen. I resided in White Rock, British Columbia for thirty-two years. I grew my private practice there. I birthed and raised my kids there. I got divorced there. I remarried there. And in my spare time, I founded a group practice for therapists (The Counselling Group) to provide other therapists support in growing their practices.

Then I got burnt out.

I actually didn’t know I was burnt out until Covid hit and I stopped. I liken it to the Boiled Frog Syndrome. I was well-done and didn’t even know it.

The good news? A major move from city life to rural Kootenays, and Rosebud Lake Retreat was born.

Rosebud Retreat is a destination where you can take a break from your own tepid water before it gets too hot.

I offer small group retreats, as well as custom tailored private or semi-private retreats. Rosebud is also available for your group to rent out and run your own retreat or events. Whatever it takes, trust me. Forest Bathing heals your mind, body and soul in ways I had not even imagined.
